First time from a FV, no surprise, other then he was half a map away. Second time from a Bat Chat, I had enough. Back to the last row in my garage she goes. This tier 10 medium is not worth the hassles of having to lay way back and get. There are other tanks that need a buff before the Leopard 1. War is a Democracy and the enemy always gets a vote. 3 MoE's: E, M41 Walker Bulldog, E, Snakebite, E, T32, Tiger , Skoda T25, Boilermaker- In order obtained. Buff its pen and alpha make it crazy accurate and buff its camo rating done leopard 1 better. They had the right idea with up its alpha the less it had to expose itself to do the same damage was nice. MEIN STREAM: aad-i.com DISCORD: aad-i.com SOCIAL MEDIA: aad-i.com aad-i.com What the Leopard 1 needs are buffs to aim time, accuracy, turret dispersion, shell velocity and reverse speed. Then it remains a paper sniper, but with those buffs it can perform it's main role better. If I was serious I would appreciate this more. I don't get why every non-russian medium tank have to more or less be copies of each other at T
Development was started in The first prototypes were built in at the Krauss-Maffei factory. The Leopard 1 saw service in the armies of more than 10 countries.
The Leopard 1 is the final advancement of medium tank tactics; with speed rivaling that of the Bat Chatillon 25 t , excellent View Range and deadly gun with good depression and a decent rate of fire, this tank is meant to never miss a shot, it's so versatile that along with sniping it can also take on passive scouting, flanking, support, and on occasion brawling.
Of course, like all tanks, it has a downside: the armor is almost as weak as the Bat Chatillon 25 t , so even HE splashes will cripple it severely.
Staying mobile is a key to this tank, while only staying still to shoot and then moving right away. Also, the ammunition Rack is stored in the front next to the driver, so it will get hit often if not careful.
On par with the tier IX M46 Patton. However, the UFP will occasionally auto-bounce. The Leopard 1 can fill two main roles to great effectiveness.
One's first thought when looking at the Leopard 1 is the role of a sniper, and it is an excellent sniper indeed. Boasting one of the most accurate guns in the game, it combines high accuracy, good alpha damage, and good DPM, all on a highly mobile, fairly well camouflaged tank.
The Leopard 1 can quickly position itself in advantageous sniping positions, positions which also often make great use of its very high m view range only the M48A5 Patton is better in this category.
All of this rolled into a single package makes it a threat from any distance, able to reliably hit weak points with its high penetration mm cannon, remain hidden while doing so, and re-position quickly to either get a new shot or retreat to a safe distance.
In this role and for the purposes of spotting, it is highly recommended to run Coated Optics, most likely in place of Vents. The other role it excels at is that of a supporting flanker.
It hasn't the armor to brawl or lead a charge on its own, but it has the acceleration, maneuverability, and top speed to quickly flank occupied tanks and shoot them in the rear with its good rate of fire.
This of course puts you more at risk for taking damage, especially module damage, so you must be careful and weigh up the risks before proceeding.
This is even more important because you need to always fully aim before taking shots to hit anything - a miss hurts due to the above average damage per shot.
Vents can be taken if one wishes but are a second class choice to due their minimal effect a 2. Another, lesser role it can fulfill to good effect is that of a scout.
With m base view range, good camo, speed, and acceleration, it can do a fine job of passive or active scouting. However, it is large for a scout, and while the acceleration is good, it is not going to kick you up to 70kmh in a few seconds.
The changes to STB-1 are welcome, but still begs the question: Why would one grind the entire JPN MT line to get the hydro-suspension feature at tier 10, when they could just go play the new Swedish MTs which gets the feature starting at tier 8 and has bigger guns, better armor, and last but not least, better gun depression?
But split the half 6 degrees into the hull depression is less impressive. Since at normal speed it will have only -6 gun depression.
I agree, at least 8 or 9 normal and then tilt the extra degrees. This needs to be looked over. I have the Leopard 1 and i like that its role is enhanced.
However the maps very often are made for brawlers and it will be hit or miss whether or not the changes will be meaningful.
Making a sniper tank better at shooting one the move and less durable is crazy. Buff its pen and alpha make it crazy accurate and buff its camo rating done leopard 1 better.
They had the right idea with up its alpha the less it had to expose itself to do the same damage was nice. But overall im happy with the leo changes but PTA changes that tank is perfect please leave it alone.
Please buff the pen and dispersion back on the amx 30 b please. Idk about the stb 1 would like to test it. Well I must WG has cancelled all the nerfs to and U.
They posted the news on their Russian website. Klaus pointed out that in the case of the Leopard at least the replacement of the HEAT round as the special shell with APCR is going to effect its new role as a long range sniper.
APCR loses more effectiveness over range more quickly than any other shell type meaning you will simply bounce APCR over very long ranges instead of missing occasionally but actually doing some damage when you hit with HEAT which seems to be becoming a more and more exclusively Russian shell type Yee Haa.
Absolutely not true. Long range ability for the Leo 1 is not limited by penetration. It is limited by the ability to hit weakspots or lead moving targets at long ranges.
The biggest problem for the Leo however is 2 things. Everything is a 3 lane corridor brawl. Accuracy is a completely irrelevant stat due to RNG.
Until they fix these 2 things the Leo will never be as conpetitive as the Russian meds for example. The way around that is by increasing alpha or DPM or both.
Does anyone have an official announcement or something about them? Sorry if this was already stated somewhere. I haven't heard about anything of the sort, and I don't think the leo 1 needs a buff or nerf, it is extremely well balanced as it is.
I don't know if it is a joke or something, or if something is actually getting buffed. What we need is a Leopard skin for the Object When you play the Leo you either Chai snipe or you play aggressive with cover.
If you play aggressive get ready to be punished so you'll need to rely on your team to help out. NeatoMan 6 Posted Jun 14 - Major.
